2008 Merlot

A “euro-styled” Merlot that displays the character of older vines. The grapes in the tank were pumped over with aeration each day, and those in the open top fermenters punched down by hand each day. Aged for 20 months in 25% new French Oak. Pair with Porterhouse steak with grilled onions, Spaghetti Bolognese, and blue-veined hard cheeses.
